Centricity PACS WebViewe

Subject: Attention to All Users of the Centricity PACS WebViewer

 

NOTE: Testing has shown that you will need to follow the Internet Explorer (IE) 7 settings steps when you try to access the site via the new links described below. Otherwise you may get security messages in the yellow IE message bar below the menus either before or after logging in, and you will not be able to view images.

 

The LSUHSC-S system has changed its domain name which will make the lsuhsc-s.edu domain inactive. This requires that all shortcuts referring to the old domain name be updated. Any links with the old Centricity PACS link will cause a reminder to appear stating the new name pacs.lsuhealthsystem.org  that should be used. This name will be the one used by the encompassing LSU health system and will be the same across the state.

 

On February 18, 2010 the lsuhsc-s.edu domain will stop working. If you have the Centricity 3.x PACS WebViewer installed on your computer from the October 2009 upgrade (or after) and you bookmarked the site or saved it to your desktop, you will need to update these links. Please see the instructions in the first listed document (Web 3.x Viewer Installation Instructions) at the following link. You can begin using either of the two methods below immediately.

If you have not created a Favorite link or a shortcut on your desktop, the following is the correct link to connect to the PACS WebViewer. You will need to follow the steps in the documentation above to properly access the new site.
