Safety Office Welcome

The Safety Office supports the quality patient care, teaching, and research missions of LSU Health Shreveport through promotion of a safe and healthy campus environment by providing programs and services that minimize safety, health, and environmental risks to the campus community.

Safety Mission

The safety mission of LSU Health Shreveport is to provide a safe and healthy environment in which hazards are eliminated or minimized through a program of hazard reduction, elimination, engineering controls, personal protective equipment, education, and work-site surveillance.

To succeed in reducing accidents, hazards, and risk exposures, each employee of LSU Health Shreveport is instructed to devote daily attention to making his or her activities and/or operations as safe and accident free as possible by complying with this mission statement and the LSU Health Shreveport Safety Program.
